The exhibition brings together 11 Swedish artists and writers who reflect on Swedish television cartoons and children's programmes broadcasted from the 1960s to the 1980s. Picked by Maria Lind and Andjeas Ejiksson, each work explores the impact of children’s television on a whole generation of viewers and on national culture in general.

Developing the theme of childhood, the exhibition design transforms Fabrika's industrial space into a playground and a living room. The playgroundlike area consists of large sculptures that evoke backyard rides, while the imaginary living room is made up of TV stands, sittings, and IKEA rugs that rhyme with the project's Swedish background. All custom structures are made from lacquered MDF panels, resulting in efficient use of budget and construction time.

Like the artworks, the exhibition furniture invites visitors to engage with it: everyone is welcome to read the books on display or look at the artworks, while lying down or sitting on chairs and benches. To the same end, the playground and living room areas are left as integral unpartitioned space for dialogue between exhibits and visitors.
