‘New New Age’ is an exhibition mapping near-spiritual practices, where artists of Soviet nonconformism are exhibited alongside contemporary artists.
The exhibition explores the influence of esotericism, meditation, and algorithms on culture, balancing deep analysis and irony. Minimalist architecture, clean lines, and simplicity create a seamless space that references the visual language of the digital environment and the aesthetics of interfaces. The existing space is transformed into a backdrop, where artworks appear as ‘windows’ into the themes explored. Texts are applied directly to the walls, reinforcing the sense of their spontaneous appearance, while large typography and color accents emphasize the idea of interface interaction, mimicking the digital environment.
The exhibition’s color and lighting design enhance the perception of space as a single dynamic field. Gradient shades that highlight certain zones not only structure the exposition but also create a distinctive atmosphere, balancing the technological and the esoteric.
